The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted international value chains, leading to a reduction in the share of export production from 62% to 59%. In total, about 12.1 billion pairs were exported worldwide in 2020.
As in previous years, Asia is the export destination for most of the world’s footwear exports in 2020, but the share of global exports has gradually decreased over the past decade and 2020 is no exception. rate.
